Poverty Simulations are an educational experience for both volunteers and participants, and they truly take a village to accomplish. Help students learn about the challenges people in poverty face in their daily lives. No experience is required, and multiple roles are needed. The UT Health Science Center Access and Engagement Visiting Professor, John H. Stewart, MD will present a lecture on Wednesday, August 28th from 8:00 – 9 am CST at the Coleman Building, North Auditorium. Dr. Stewart serves as the Professor and Chair, Department of Surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Stewart will present on the topic, “Consequential Giants of American Surgery.”
