While numerous applications are designed to simplify daily tasks, it is essential to exercise caution when selecting which ones to use, particularly for UT Health Science Center business. Many free applications lack the necessary security controls required for handling specific data classification levels. As with social media applications, security considerations must be a primary factor in your decision-making process when choosing any application.


Poverty Simulation Volunteers Needed!

Please consider volunteering for an upcoming Poverty Simulation scheduled for Friday, September 27. Poverty Simulations are an educational experience for both volunteers and participants, and they truly take a village to accomplish. Help students learn about the challenges people in poverty face in their daily lives. No experience is required, and multiple roles are needed. All sessions being at noon and end at 1 p.m. This year, sessions with an in-person speaker will be held in the Freeman Auditorium every first Thursday of the month, excluding January 2nd for the holiday break. Grand Rounds will be presented in a hybrid format, offering maximum flexibility for all our students, residents, faculty, and guests to attend either in person or virtually.
