Getting a UTHSC Phone Number Assigned to a New Employee

Now that UTHSC is moving to RingCentral, phone numbers are assigned to your NetID, not to a physical (“hard”) phone. This means that new employees are unable to make and receive calls at a UTHSC phone number until one is assigned or re-assigned to them.


TLC Summer Olympics

We invite you to participate in an exciting new initiative: the 2024 TLC Summer Olympics! Faculty who enroll in this 7-week online summer program can sign up for one of the following ‘events:’ 1) Developing a Microlecture; 2) Designing a Low-Fidelity Simulation/Role Play; or 3) Using Collaborative Academic Technology. You will then work with a designated TLC coach to help you develop a useful product you can leverage in your teaching. Winners will be selected from each category and will be recognized at the TLC Celebration of Teaching Excellence in August 2024.

Free Hepatitis B&C Testing

Come join APAMSA and the fight against hepatitis by getting screened for free! Ensure that Memphis stays healthy and protected. Screening is running on Sunday April 28th from 1:00-4:00pm, at 1755 Appling Rd, Cordova, TN 38106.


Blackboard System Restart Friday, April 26th at 11pm/12am

Anthology must conduct a complete rolling restart to resolve an internal software issue. This system restart will occur on Friday, April 26th at 11pm CST/12am EST and will last 30 minutes. Please save all coursework and complete assessments before this period. Once the process is complete, you can resume Blackboard use.


Are You a Student with a Hidden Disability? You may Qualify for a Study and Receive Compensation!

Kimberly Williams MS, PhD(C) is enrolling African American and non-African American students for a research study “Exploring the Matriculation and Resource Utilization of African Americans with Hidden Disabilities in the Health Sciences” to understand your experiences of having as disability and being a student in the Health Sciences. Subjects must be 18 or older, enrolled in any of the colleges of UTHSC, and be of any race. Subjects will be asked to complete a brief demographic survey and do a 60-90 minute interview via Zoom or in person.
