The National Flu Vaccine Conference being held in Memphis June 17 is drawing healthcare leaders from the CDC, NIH, the FDA and major phamaceutical companies.

The National Flu Vaccine Conference being held in Memphis June 17th is drawing healthcare leaders from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and major pharmaceutical companies.

The event is co-hosted by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center MidSouth Center for Biodefense and Security in partnership with the CDC and the Southeastern Center for Emerging Biological Threats (SECBT).

Entitled “Vaccines: Not Enough or Not Enough Time?”, the program features the world renowned St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital flu researchers, Robert Webster, Ph.D. and Richard J. Webby, PhD, as well as experts from around the country representing the CDC, SECEBT, Merck and Wyeth.
