The UT Health Science Center chapter of the American Medical Association–Medical Student Section is thrilled to welcome Dr. Janeane N. Anderson, PhD, MPH, assistant professor in the Department of Community and Population Health in the UT Health Science Center College of Nursing. Dr. Anderson will lead an interactive, case-based workshop focused on intersectionality in health care communication—helping us build critical consciousness and improve how we engage with diverse patients, peers, and communities.
This workshop is an incredible opportunity to grow as a future healthcare provider and qualifies as a Social Determinants of Health Intensive for the Serving the Underserved co-curricular certificate.
