Windows 10 & 11 version 22H2 will be automatically installed on all eligible UT Health Science Center computers to provide the latest features and to comply with our ITS security policy.
This update will be enforced in waves across campus starting after business hours on March 8th and continuing over the next four weeks.
Please leave your Windows computer powered on and connected to the internet when not in use to allow the update to be installed.
This update is currently available as an optional update in Software Center. If you would like to initiate the upgrade process before it is enforced, please refer to the TechConnect knowledge base instructions.
If a PC in your area should be exempt from the 22H2 update, an exemption may be requested. To initiate an OS update exemption request, please contact the ITS Service Desk at uthsc.edu/techconenct or 901.448.2222.
Please be aware that unsupported versions of Windows will lose network connectivity in July. This will include:
- Windows 10 21H2
- Windows 11 20H2
- and all prior versions of Windows
