The UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy recently completed significant upgrades to its Nashville location. These include a new classroom, four study rooms, two conference rooms, and a compounding room.
The upgrades will facilitate collaboration, hands-on learning, and the development of essential skills for UT Health Science Center student pharmacists. The college originally opened its Nashville location in 2014 and moved to its current 11,000-square-foot space at 301 S. Perimeter Park Drive in 2019.
In Fall 2023, the College of Pharmacy expanded opportunities for incoming students to complete the entire four-year PharmD program at either its Nashville or Knoxville locations, in addition to the Memphis campus.
“We are excited about these significant upgrades to enrich and expand our student learning spaces,” said Tracy Hagemann, PharmD, associate dean for the Nashville campus. “The additional space underscores our commitment to innovative teaching techniques and our dedication to the needs of our learners to empower their success in our program.”
