Activity Overview: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology will host their annual Kambara DVP Lecture and Residents’ Day. Sonal Tuli, MD, Med, MBA, Professor and Chair of the department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida College of Medicine, will be this year’s distinguished visiting professor. Dr. Sonal’s presentation is entitled Herpes Simplex and Zoster.

Educational Objectives:

  • Will understand the difference between the life cycle of HSV and VZV
  • Will be able to differentiate between the clinical features of the two diseases.
  • Will be able to appropriately treat the two diseases.
  • Will understand preventive strategies for the two diseases
