In response to requests from the UT community, OneIT is now able to provide access to Microsoft Cowork and premium Claude features, including Claude Code, Claude desktop and GitHub integrations within the university’s enterprise environment.
For faculty, researchers and staff relying on personal Claude accounts, your department can now purchase a Claude for Higher Education license through OneIT to access premium Claude tools in a secure, approved environment.
Microsoft Cowork carries out tasks on your behalf within the Microsoft ecosystem. Describe what you need, and Cowork sends emails, schedules meetings, creates documents, posts in Teams and manages your calendar.

How to Request Microsoft Cowork
Purchase a subscription to Microsoft Cowork and connect your Cowork license to your department’s Azure subscription. Because this is a premium AI resource, departments will be responsible for licensing fees and Azure usage.
