MacOS updates are available to all managed and eligible UTHSC devices to upgrade to MacOS 13 and newer.
Beginning July 2024, unsupported Apple operating systems will no longer have internal network access without an exception request submitted to the Office of Cybersecurity and approved for continued use.
We recommend you begin upgrading your computers as soon as possible. If your computer does not meet hardware requirements to upgrade to a supported operating system, we recommend planning for a computer refresh prior to July.
For all UTHSC-managed Apple computers, these updates should show available within System Settings > General > Software Updates
Supported Apple operating systems:
- MacOS 14 (Sonoma)
- macOS 13 (Ventura)
- macOS 12 (Monterey) **loses support September 2024
