About the Event:
Operation SUDs and A Betor Way host a recurring needle exchange and patient education event to support individuals with substance use disorders. Student pharmacists will assist with harm reduction supply distribution, overdose prevention education, and resource connection for treatment, housing, and recovery programs. This initiative aims to reduce disease spread, combat stigma, and highlight pharmacy’s role in community health.
Note: Casual, weather-appropriate attire is allowed. Event is outdoors. Professionalism and empathy are required in this judgment-free zone.
