Dr. Lemoine will discuss the history of simulation education and how over the last 20 years we continue to improve, adapt and change to create safer health care providers and teams. The session will illustrate how new competency-based education in simulation is changing curricular design. Participants will gain insights into how to design more engaging educational experiences for students and learn how to better plan and scale up innovative simulation experiences that follows not only best practices, but also contemporary approaches to simulation education.
