Join us as we explore the Asthma module of the CDC Foundation’s Health and Well-being for All Meeting in a Box toolkit. This is one of the resources available on the UTHSC Library’s QEP Resource Portal. Let’s explore the toolkit and learn more about how to take our knowledge of the social determinants of health and put it into action!
Participants will:
- Discuss the determinants of health—including socioeconomic, behavioral, environmental, and other factors—through a facilitated discussion and prompts.
- Compare and contrast the internal and external issues faced by key stakeholders through a role play exercise.
- Identify strategies for moving from group alignment to cooperative action through collective brainstorming.
Participants will be fed!
This activity will serve as an Intensive credit on the Co-Curricular Certificate on the Social Determinants of Health, and it is open to anyone at the UT Health Science Center Memphis Campus.
