Get with the Guidelines Data Bootcamp is part of the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions 2025. Attend this bootcamp to be eligible to submit an upcoming AHA grant proposal using Get With The Guidelines® (GWTG) data with a deadline following Scientific Sessions. The American Heart Association will fund up to 10 awards per cycle at up to $50,000 per one-year award.
The AHA’s GWTG data includes more than 14 million patient records across 5 programs. Researchers must use the Precision Medicine Platform to access and analyze this data. This requires coding experience in R, Python, or SAS or bringing a researcher that has these skills. There will be 1-2 pre-requisite virtual meetings prior to the onsite event in New Orleans.
