The new Employee Compensation Compliance (ECC) system is set to launch in spring 2025, with the first certification effort scheduled for May 2025. This new system (from Huron Research Suite) will replace the current IRIS Effort Certification process for tracking personnel compensation funded by sponsored sources. Key Changes to Note:
Transition to ECC: The new ECC module will standardize the certification process across all components of the UT System, including the Health Science Center.
Hybrid Certification Model: With the implementation of ECC, we will adopt a hybrid model for periodic certification. The standard certification periods will be as follows:
Winter: January 1 – April 30
Summer: May 1 – July 31
Fall: August 1 – December 31
