Drop in to the Advanced Imaging Core (AIC) (Johnson Building, Room 311) anytime between 10:00am and 3:00pm. Bring a prepared specimen for testing the Elyra 7 system to receive immediate feedback about sample quality and specimen suitability for imaging.

Drs. Theodore Cory and Santosh Kumar are enrolling African American women for a research
project “Isolation of Blood from Healthy Control Donors”, to find out how the immune system
responds to infection with infectious diseases.
Subjects must be between the ages of 18-50, and generally healthy. Subjects must not be
heavy alcohol users, use illicit substances, have liver damage, have HIV, the human
papillomavirus (HPV), or be pregnant.
Subjects will be asked to provide 4 tablespoons of blood in one blood draw and will be
compensated $25.

To prepare users for the Ultra Course transition in spring, a Blackboard Orientation Training Course is available for faculty and staff to become familiar with Ultra processes.
Blackboard courses that require Banner registration will be taught in Ultra Course View, effective in spring 2024. To prepare students for this conversion, helpful YouTube tutorial videos (by topic) and Support Help articles are posted on the Blackboard Log-in Institution Page.
