A key focus of National Civility Month in August is to encourage people to be civil with each other. As UT Health Science Center (UTHSC) celebrates National Civility Month for the second year, we want to encourage our community to remember to treat others the way we wish to be treated – with kindness, empathy, and respect. Communication is an essential aspect of civility, and it is the underpinning of healthy relationships, both personally and professionally across UTHSC.
The Office of Access and Compliance invites you to take the ‘Civility Pledge’ available to students, trainees, staff, and faculty. Those who complete the pledge will receive an invitation to voluntarily participate in a 10-day civility challenge offered through Teams from Monday, August 19, through Friday, August 30, and a drawing for a $25 Starbucks gift card
