Be part of the St. Patrick Mobile Food Pantry this weekend!
Grandmothers sleep in their vehicles outside our gates to be among the first to receive a week’s worth of groceries. The Midsouth Food Bank delivers our groceries at 7 o’clock in the morning on these Saturdays. We then “stage” the food under the tents provided by Hicks Convention Services. At approximately 8:10 a.m., Stan “The Bellringer” Bell provides our PA system and we have our welcome (especially for first-timers), pep talk, safety awareness session, and prayer with our pastor and St. Patrick parish host, Father Robert. We open the gates at 8:30 a.m. or a little earlier if possible. We’ve been wrapping up these sessions by 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. each month. You are cordially invited to join us. Register now!
