Who is our new Flexible Spending Account and Health Savings Account provider? In 2026, TASC will be the vendor for all of our flexible spending accounts, including medical, limited purpose and dependent care, and Health Savings Accounts.

When should I receive an email or cards from TASC regarding how to activate my account for FSA or HSA? No later than January 1, 2026.  For questions about your account/eligibility or cards, employees can reach out to TASC directly at 800.575.6277, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. (Central); you can also visit www.stateoftntasc.com.

When will the FSA funds from our Optum 2025 account be available in our TASC account for 2026? If an employee enrolls in an FSA for 2026, the carryover funds will be transferred to your TASC account in June 2026.

How do I submit claims for 2025 expenses? Employees will have until April 30, 2026, to submit expenses to Optum Financial for reimbursement. Please contact Optum Financial for assistance at 866.600.4984, 24/7; you can also visit my.optum.com/tennessee.html.

Is there a deadline when an employee can transfer their HSA funds? Starting January 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026 employees can initiate the transfer of funds to TASC; complete and return the HSA Transfer Form to Optum. The form is located HERE.

If the employee misses the HSA transfer deadline of June 2026, are they locked into keeping those funds with Optum until all funds are exhausted? No, an employee can still transfer their Optum HSA funds directly to TASC after the deadline. However, the employee will pay an administrative and transfer fee.
