DARPA’s Biological Technologies Office (BTO) has released a Request for Information (RFI) on Advanced Technologies for Combat Casualty Care (CCC). Backed by $100 million in new funding for Combat Casualty Care, this RFI seeks input on cutting-edge technologies that could transform medical care in contested, resource-limited environments. Areas of interest include:
- Advanced medical sensing and imaging
- AI/ML and computational modeling for decision support and digital twins
- Robotics and advanced intervention technologies
- Biomarker discovery and real-time blood chemistry sensing
- Systems integration, autonomy, and AR/VR-based medical training
This opportunity spans engineering, AI/ML, and biomedical research.
Researchers interested in contributing to a coordinated UT response should contact James Andes (jandes@utk.edu) as soon as possible to begin the submission process.
Responses are due by Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. (Eastern).
