Posts that ask questions like “What was your first car?” “What street did you grow up on?” or “What’s your pet’s name?” may seem harmless, but they often mirror common security questions used to protect your accounts. By participating, you could be giving away answers that help attackers guess passwords or reset your accounts. Even if the quiz is not malicious, your responses may be publicly visible or collected and reused elsewhere. Before sharing, think about how that information could be used against you. Limiting what you share helps protect not only your accounts, but also your identity and personal history.
