The UT Health Science Center College of Nursing will present the 2024 Elinor F. Reed Distinguished Visiting Professorship from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm March 26 at the Memphis Botanic Garden. James LaVelle Dickens, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, will speak on “Promoting, Protecting, and Advancing the Health and Safety of the Nation: A Journey of Nursing Leadership. Capt. Dickens is a retired commissioned officer of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corp. Two nursing continuing professional development credit hours will be awarded for this event, and there is no charge for the credit hours.
