The UT Health Science Center College of Nursing will present the 2024 Elinor F. Reed Distinguished Visiting Professorship from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm March 26 at the Memphis Botanic Gardens. James LaVelle Dickens, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, will speak on “Promoting, Protecting, and Advancing the Health and Safety of the Nation: A Journey of Nursing Leadership.” Capt. Dickens is a retired officer of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. Two nursing continuing professional development credit hours will be awarded for this event, and there is no charge for the credit hours.
