Dear Campus Community,
The UT Health Science Center Campus Police Department is happy to announce the installation of 14 new, state-of-the-art emergency phone towers, located strategically throughout campus. These new emergency phone towers communicate directly with Campus Police Dispatch, providing dispatchers with the emergency phone tower’s location and a photograph of the person(s) needing assistance. Each tower is equipped with area lighting, blue strobe lights, and mass notification capability in the event of a campus emergency. The emergency phone towers are activated by simply pressing the red “HELP” button located on the front faceplate of each tower.
Your safety is our top priority, and we encourage you to utilize these towers should you ever need emergency assistance.
