As Tennessee’s public, academic health care institution, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center has been a leader in the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with expert information and guidance, testing, treatment, support for the development of therapeutics, and vaccine research and delivery. At the same time, UTHSC graduated all its students, residents, and fellows on schedule, and expanded its academic, clinical, research, and community engagement missions.
