UTHSC Signs Affiliation Agreement with Khon Kaen Univ. of Thailand

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and Khon Kaen University of Thailand have signed a 10-year affiliation agreement to promote graduate study.

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Khon Kaen University of Thailand have signed a 10-year affiliation agreement to promote graduate study.

According to Dr. Lawrence Brown, assistant professor of Health Science Administration Graduate Program in the UT College of Pharmacy, this affiliation agreement will make it possible for Ph.D. students in the Pharmacy Administration Graduate Program at Khon Kaen University’s College of Pharmacy to travel to Memphis for a three-month period and train under one of the professors in the UT College of Pharmacy Health Science Administration Graduate program.

He commented, “Under this unique agreement, Thai students will have ample time to improve their research skills and learn firsthand about the health care system in the United States, pharmacist-provided medication therapy management services, pharmacoeconomics, and health outcomes research.”
