Medical Alumni Show Appreciation Through Multiple Luncheons Across The State

|

The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is showing appreciation to College of Medicine faculty and residents across the state. Last month, for the second year, five resident and faculty appreciation lunches were held at UTHSC’s regional partner hospitals in Middle and East Tennessee.

Luncheon sites included the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville; Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga; and Saint Thomas West, Saint Thomas Rutherford, and Saint Thomas Midtown in middle Tennessee. During the events, residents had the opportunity to connect with local alumni.

“The residents really seemed to appreciate and enjoy the luncheons, especially the door prizes provided by the local alumni,” said UTHSC College of Medicine Nashville faculty member and alumnus Paul McNabb, MD, (COM ’74). “We want to create sense of community and connection for our residents. Thank you to Dr. Tina Whitworth, Dr. Stan Sanders, Drs. Jan and Joe Delozier, Drs. Suzanne and Paul Bryant, and Dr. and Mrs. David Hill for their generous donations to support our residents.”
