UTHSC receives $3.25M grant to help support future healthcare workers

The College of Health Professions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) has been awarded a record-breaking $3.25 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration. The grant is meant to support a Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) and is being called Reimagining Education for Advance Careers in Healthcare, or REACH. It’s aimed at addressing the lack of skilled and diverse healthcare workers in West Tennessee.
