After more than a decade leading the university, Dr. Steve Schwab will retire as chancellor of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). In the coming weeks, the University of Tennessee (UT) System will launch a search for his replacement, with Schwab remaining in his role until June 30, 2022 — or until a successor is found.
