The University of Tennessee System has refunded over $40 million to students because of the coronavirus, UT System President Randy Boyd said Friday.
At a virtual special meeting of the Board of Trustees, Boyd went over the university’s response to COVID-19, as well as discussed plans for the next several months. He also discussed the financial impact of the pandemic, estimated to be $40.3 million across all campuses.
