No shirt, no shoes, no service — but how about face masks?
Today, for the first time in a long time (49 days, to be exact), Memphians can eat inside a restaurant, shop for nonessentials in a “nonessential” store, and even hit the gym. But while businesses’ public-facing employees are required to wear face masks under the rules of the local “Back to Business” plan to reopen the local economy, customers aren’t.
Not yet, anyway.
