Shelby County health officials consider easing restrictions on Liberty Bowl, restaurants

The Shelby County Health Department could ease restrictions on restaurants and sporting events next week, Health Officer Bruce Randolph said Thursday. The revised guidelines could allow for more fans inside the Liberty Bowl. “We will revise the indoor and outdoor seating capacity for sporting events,” he said. “Currently it’s at 12 feet. We are looking closely at our data to make some adjustments on that and that will be revealed in our new directive.”
