Provectus (OTCQB: PVCT) today announced that the Company has expanded its sponsored research program with Michio Kurosu, PhD, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the College of Pharmacy of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in Memphis, Tennessee to investigate Provectus’ pharmaceutical-grade rose bengal for the treatment of anti-fungal and anti-oral bacterial infections. Provectus’ innovatively-assembled and proprietary rose bengal is the lead member of a class of the Company’s small molecules called halogenated xanthenes.
