Raaj Kurapati has been named the new executive vice chancellor and chief operating officer for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He comes to UTHSC after having served since 2018 as the executive vice president and chief operating and financial officer for the University of Memphis. Kurapati fills the position held by Kennard Brown who retired in June and will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative operations and management of the campus’s central administration.
