Franklin resident chosen as president-elect of American College of Physicians

Ryan D. Mire, MD, FACP, a physician at Ascension Saint Thomas and Franklin resident, has been named president-elect of the American College of Physicians (ACP). Mire holds an academic appointment as assistant professor of clinical medical education for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. Mire is on the Rhodes College Board of Trustees and is a member of the Executive Committee for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Alumni Council.
