Done Deal: Cancer center buys east campus from Methodist for $51M

The partnership dissolution between Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and West Cancer Center that began last fall now includes the transfer via sale of West’s east campus. In September 2018, West announced it would be joining three other independent community oncology practices to found OneOncology. Separately, Methodist has plans to create a new Methodist Cancer Institute with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). Methodist and West officially parted ways Feb. 22 at midnight.
