The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis prepares future NPs in six different NP specialties, not including their three dual NP concentration pathways. The DNP NP Program is available to students with a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing, and certified master’s-prepared Nurse Practitioners can also complete the DNP degree. Clinical Experiences are integral to every concentration, with placements made by faculty in collaboration with the student and preceptor. Both full-time and part-time study may be available, depending on the concentration.
