In the early months of each year, volunteers at the Memphis Crisis Center brace for what they know will come. Once the holidays are over and winter sets in, call volume will go up. The area’s free, 24/7 crisis intervention hotline for almost 50 years, is looking for committed volunteers to answer those calls.
