Diverse businesses in the Memphis area now have another avenue at bidding for contracts for services and other products. On Thursday, Sept. 20, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) held a workshop for local businesses to learn about its new Diversity Business Enterprise Initiative and about procurement practices at UTHSC.
