You’re invited to join the Young Professionals Group for a virtual event: Building Resilience During the COVID-19 Pandemic. This short online event with breakout sessions will take place Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 12:00 pm CST.
As part of YPG’s mission to provide educational and training opportunities to its members, this event is designed to equip you with tools you might find useful in navigating “new normals” caused by the current global pandemic. We are thrilled to have Dr. Altha Stewart, senior associate dean for Community Health Engagement and associate professor of Psychiatry in the College of Medicine, offer opening remarks and present information on coping during these unprecedented times.
Following Dr. Stewart’s remarks, participants will be placed in their pre-selected breakout session. These sessions, led by UTHSC staff members, will cover topics such as meditation, personal and professional development/branding, and information technology. The event will conclude with closing remarks from the YPG Steering committee and an opportunity to win some door prizes!
