If you are overweight, have high blood sugar but are not diabetic, have a relative with diabetes, or had diabetes during pregnancy – you are at an increased risk. The Department of Preventive Medicine is looking for people who are at high risk for getting diabetes and age 30 or above to be in a research study to find out if Vitamin D can prevent diabetes.
