The Management Of Diabetes in Everyday Life (MODEL) study is recruiting 1000 African American participants from the Mid-South for a one-year study. The study will look at ways to help those with diabetes take better care of their health.
We are looking for participants who are African American, at least 18 years old, have diabetes with high blood sugars, have a cell phone with text messaging capability, and are a patient at a participating clinic (below). Participation will last for one year, and you will be compensated (up to $150) for your time.
