Please join the health disparities researchers of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), and Tulane University (TU) at the Delta Clinical and Translational Health Disparities Conference. This free conference will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Jackson, MS on the UMMC campus from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm and is open to all faculty, staff, students, and postdocs. The conference is designed to bring together health disparities researchers from UTHSC with those from UMMC and TU, allowing them to share their research interests, and catalyze new collaborative partnerships that will result in the submission of a UTHSC/TU/UMMC CORNET Award proposal in Health Disparities Research. There will be keynote speakers from each institution, a poster session, and networking. More information on the conference speakers can be found on the Delta Clinical and Translational Health Disparities Conference webpage. Poster slots are available for those wishing to present their research. However, there is no requirement to present a poster in order to attend this event. Please note, that although all are invited to the Delta Clinical and Translational Health Disparities Conference, only UTHSC (all campuses), UMMC and TU investigators are eligible to apply for the Health Disparities CORNET Award.
