Hello UTHSC Campus Community!
The Office of Student Affairs and Community Engagement has partnered with the Department of Occupational Therapy Project PrOTect Mask Makers to meet a challenge of providing 1000 masks to local health care providers and we need volunteers!
Materials will be provided (while they last) via non-contact front porch delivery and pickup by Student Affairs and Community Engagement staff.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the following form https://masksewing.questionpro.com to let us know!
For a video on how to make the masks, please watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCJcE-r7kcg
Note: These masks are not intended to meet the standard of PPE N95 mask needed to best protect from COVID-19, these masks are intended to be used in conjunction with an N95 to extend its service life, or as an alternative option when no N95 is available.
