The 2018 Memphis Medical District Healthcare Interprofessional Education Expo is intended to highlight interprofessional collaboration and teamwork at Memphis Medical District. It will offer participants an opportunity to learn with, from, and about other health care professions. This will be an enjoyable and informative day for faculty and all students who attend Academic Institutes in Memphis Medical District.
Purpose: to activate and connect people from various healthcare professional interest to a common interactive place within the Memphis Medical District, and build inter-professional healthcare community in these spaces via a social event.
Goals: to encourage healthcare interprofessional engagement via a social event
This event Celebrates and reinforces interprofessional healthcare efforts and enhances the collaborative character of the Memphis Medical District.
Target audience: People living/ working in Memphis Medical District, students, faculty, staff from various educational and clinical institutes in Memphis. Clinicians, nurses, Physical therapist, Occupational Therapist, Clinical/ medical Lab scientists, Pharmacist, bio medical engineers, health economist, health researchers, Health informatitions, public health officers etc.
