The UTHSC Outdoor Recreation department is offering a Spring session of kayak instruction in March, Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm! REGISTRATION OPENS TODAY, Friday FEBRUARY 27th!
Learn the principles of whitewater kayaking in the safe and secure environment of the UTHSC Indoor Pool!
THURSDAY March 12th, 19th, 26th, and April 2nd,
5:30pm – 7:30pm
The course will include an overview of basic kayaking skills including paddle strokes, boat control, swiftwater safety basics, and principles of rolling a whitewater kayak.
UTHSC Outdoor Recreation provides kayaks, paddles, sprayskirts and PFDs
Students: $20, Faculty, Staff, and Fitness Center Members: $65, Non-affiliated Community Members: $95
