The Regenerative and Rehabilitation Sciences Division in the College of Health Professions welcomes Dr. Louis-Nicolas Veilleux. He is the Principal Investigator-Coordinator of the Motion Analysis Center at the Shriners Hospital for Children-Canada in Montréal, Quebec, and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Surgery at McGill University. He investigates the musculoskeletal system in children in good health and those diagnosed with genetic bone and neuromuscular disorders. He is also examining genetic mutation effects on the musculoskeletal system and human movement. Additionally, he is exploring physical activity as an adjunctive therapy and developing improved prehabilitation interventions. He has over 40 peer-reviewed publications in these areas.
