Public speaking and leadership


If you would like to become an engaging public speaker,  improve your skills as a teacher, seminar speaker or when presenting professionally to your colleagues, joining a Toastmasters club will allow you to reach your goals fast in a professional environment. Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Our membership is 270,000 strong with many high ranking universities and other academic institutions world wide hosting Toastmasters clubs. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending meetings at one of the >13,000 clubs. How Does It Work? A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.

Where? Brain Builders UTHSC chapter The Urban Child Institute, 600 Jefferson Ave, 1st floor, Conference Room 4.
