- Differentiate between normal emotional changes in pregnancy and symptoms major depressive episodes.
- Identify risk factors for the development of mood disorders during pregnancy and postpartum.
- Discuss risks and benefits of medication use during pregnancy, postpartum and while breastfeeding as well as formulate a safe, evidence-based treatment plan.
