OBJECTIVES:
Following this activity, the participants should be able to:
• Understand basic characteristics of mandatory outpatient treatment.
• Understand relevant historical events and cases that contributed to outpatient treatment.
• Appreciate some arguments and evidence for and against the use of mandatory outpatient treatment.
